Changing your year-end in Xero can lead to inaccuracies in your figures. This article explains why this happens and how to resolve the issue.
When you update your year-end in Xero, the new period will automatically sync with Silverfin. However, you might notice that some figures appear incorrect.
Why is this happening?
Simply put, your transactions from prior periods may not be correctly allocated, which leads to discrepancies in Silverfin. These transactions need to be adjusted within Silverfin.
What should you do?
If you find that your figures are inaccurate, please contact Silverfin support and inform them that you've changed your year-end in Xero. They will assist you in resolving the issue. Please provide the Support with the following information:
